About Us

What does PETERBOROUGH UKIP stand for?

NATIONALLY
LEAVE THE EUROPEAN UNION NOW
- Leave the EU as soon as possible -don’t waste time negotiating, give the EU an ultimatum
- Control our borders and reduce immigration
- Decide ourselves how our own money is spent
- Make our own laws and scrap those of the EU

RESTORE BRITISH VALUES
- There must be only one system of law in this country - British law
- We must stand-up for our traditional British culture and way of life
- All who live in this country must support fair play, tolerance and equality for all

LOCALLY

SPEND COUNCIL TAX ON LOCAL PEOPLE’S NEEDS
- We demand that your money is spent in your local community before city centre projects

PROTECT OUR GREEN SPACES
- We must preserve our green spaces, stop urban sprawl and utilise brown-field sites to build affordable homes

PRIORITISE LOCAL PEOPLE  FOR SOCIAL HOUSING
- We say that local Peterborough people and service veterans should have priority for social housing

FIGHT CRIME & ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR (ASB)
- We must have more Police action to fight the increase in crime. We need more patrols to combat fly-tipping, dangerous driving and drinking in our streets and parks

STOP OUR FAILING EDUCATION SYSTEM
- Our schools continue to slide down the performance tables. We demand the council stops hiding from the Academies and fights for our children

We currently have one UKIP member elected to Peterborough City Council,
Councillor John Whitby.

John represents Fletton & Stanground ward and can be contacted via:

T: 07982 710735
E: john.whitby@peterborough.gov.uk

Click on “Speaker’s Corner” to read Peterborough UKIP Councillor John Whitby explaining why we are different.

LibLabCon are restricted to a narrow range of policies which fit with their set ideologies.

UKIP just want to see local government do what is right for the UK and its people.
